About the IFEA World Endodontic Conference (WEC)

In the specialized world of endodontics, the International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA) World Endodontic Conference stands out as a premier event, drawing professionals from every corner of the globe.

The 2024 IFEA World Endodontic Conference brings over 3,000 dental professionals and hundreds of event sponsors to the wonderful host city of Glasgow, Scotland. This year's event (the 14th Congress meeting) will be organized by The British Endodontic Society (BES) and will take place at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Glasgow, UK from the 11th – 14th September 2024.

When and Where Is the IFEA World Endodontic Congress (WEC) 2024?

When: This year’s event will be held from 11th – 14th September 2024.

Where: Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Glasgow, UK.

IFEA and the BEC is excited to invite dental professionals and sponsors to Scotland. Glasgow is a wonderful place to visit. It is a vibrant friendly city, packed with history and plenty to offer, both culturally and socially. The surrounding area is, of course, famous for its’ scenery, golf courses and whisky tours! It also has an international airport with connections across the UK and the world.

The show organizers are also eager to introduce you to Glasgow's premier event venue - the Scottish Event Campus (SEC). The SEC is a modern multi-purpose event centre, close to the city next to the River Clyde. The Exhibition Area for the Congress is located at ground floor level with the Meeting Rooms above. All Congress catering will be in the Exhibition Area.

Stay tuned for hands-on workshops as well, which will be happening nearby and in upper levels of the SEC both before and during the show.

One hands-on learning course we strongly suggest checking out is "Simple and Predictable Endo-restorative Treatment" with Dr. Daniel Cerny. Dr Daniel Cerny, DLC Dent, Hradec Králové, Czech Republic is the invited lecturer and instructor conducting this 5-hour hands on workshop on Wednesday 11th September from 10am to 4.30pm at the SEC.

This workshop will guide participants through the most common endo-restorative situations and how to treat them predictably within the same session with endodontics treatment. Participants will also get hands-on training and practice with the Global A-Series microscope.

Daniel Cerny (*1974) has received his dental degree at the Charles University, Medical School in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic (1998). Doctorate degree earned at Palacky University in Olomouc in 2018 with the topic of adhesive aesthetic reconstruction. He is author/co-author of 36 articles in dental journals. Co-author of 4 chapters in dental books. Lectures widely internationally.
